Acceptable Use Policy

The Unbroken Table is a place for families to keep the people they love. To keep it that way, please don't use it to upload, store or share:

• anything illegal where you live or in New Zealand;
• content you don't have the right to share, such as someone else's photographs or writing without permission;
• sexual content of any kind involving anyone under 18, which we report to the authorities;
• intimate images of anyone without their consent;
• content that harasses, threatens, or encourages violence or hatred against anyone;
• other people's private information in order to expose, shame or harm them;
• malware, or anything designed to disrupt the service or other people's use of it.

And please don't:

• try to get into Tables, accounts or data that aren't yours;
• use automated tools to scrape the service or create accounts;
• resell or rebrand the service without our written agreement.

Families disagree sometimes

Disagreements about a family's history are part of life. Our succession and family disputes policy explains how we handle them. We don't decide whose memory is right.

What happens if the rules are broken

We may remove content, limit features, or suspend an account, depending on how serious it is. Unless the law prevents it, we'll tell you what we did and why, and you can reply through our contact page.
